Terms and conditions
You may only use this library for private study, scholarship, or research. If your intentions are otherwise, do not proceed into this library.
This library bases its legality on the Fair Use Provision of the Copyright Act, United States Code Title 17, Section 107 which states that: "fair use of a copyrighted work, including such use by reproduction in copies or phonorecords or by any other means specified by that section, for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching (including multiple copies for classroom use), scholarship, or research, is not an infringement of copyright."
Under certain conditions specified in the law, libraries and archives are authorized to furnish a photocopy or other reproduction. One of these specified conditions is that the photocopy or reproduction is not to be "used for any purpose other than private study, scholarship, or research." If a user makes a request for, or later uses, a photocopy or reproduction for purposes in excess of "fair use," that user may be liable for copyright infringement.
Think of this library as a research library; you must use the files for educational purposes, never for profit, and you should always give credit to authors if you distribute the material. This library is completely nonprofit and is made available in the interests of teaching other people songs. The aim of abcMusic.net is to transmit some useful resources for musicians that wish to improve their skills. These files are a personal interpretation of a musical arrangement by a individual musician and do not intend to provide a precise version of the artist. We do not aspire to infringe copyrights, and we embolden you to purchase the artist's album and official song book.
If you think you have found a file which infringes copyright, please report it to copyright@abcmusic.net immidiately. Please, when you do so, write your full name, address, contact telephone number, information about the suspected file as well as the copyright licence which you believe was infriged. Please write one suspected file per email and allow 10 business days for investigation.
